The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the Government’s independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Their role is to register health and social care providers and to inspect whether or not standards are being met.

They then rate each service as either Inadequate, Requires Improvement, Good or Outstanding based on five core criteria, which are;

  • Safe
  • Effective
  • Caring
  • Responsive
  • Well-lead

Oasis Rehab was inspected under this new rating structure in April 2019 and they have been rated as GOOD overall.

According to the CQC, Oasis Rehab achieved this rating because “Equality and diversity was promoted at the service” and because “Clients said that the choice of treatment at the service helped them improve in a more involved manner.” During their inspection, the Commission spoke to many of our current and former clients and discovered that “they felt supported and safe at the service.” and “Clients felt comfortable with staff at the service, and felt they could talk to them.”.

“Staff supported clients to understand and manage their difficulties. Clients said that staff treated them well and behaved appropriately towards them.” (Care Quality Commission)
